LSF Shipping & Receiving:

  • Receive material delivered by freight and priority delivery carriers
  • Validate delivered items to documentation (delivery manifest and packing list)
  • Receive delivered materials into Inventory Management System Data Base
  • Research and resolve all material receipt problems with appropriate cross-organizational points of contact (Procurement, Planning & Supportability, Property Management, and Inventory Analyst)
  • Route all received items and required associated documentation to requestor, stock or incoming Quality Inspection (if required)
  • Coordinate with Traffic Analyst, Quality Inspection and Transportation Services or Priority Ship Carriers all outbound shipments to ensure accurate and on-time delivery
  • Pack, box or crate items per engineering specification or carrier requirements
  • Validate and process all shipment documentation
  • Provide material receipt, handling, packaging, ship and transportation service support to CAU Bonded Stores, SAIL Bonded Stores, and H.D.A.
